Richard Dean Anderson — Now 68 years old

He may have been known as the Swiss Army know trotting main lead in the beloved TV show MacGyver, but Richard Dean actually started his acting career in the '70s with the long-running drama soap General Hospital. After he left MacGyver, he joined other famous cast members in various Starship franchise shows and movies, but none were as well-received as his first two shows. Now retired from acting, Richard now enjoys his quiet family life and doing charitable work.

GENE HACKMAN - NOW 92 YEARS OLD

Eugene Allen Hackman is an American novelist and retired actor. Hackman has won several awards like Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Award, and BAFTAs during his six-decade career. Furthermore, he became the oldest living and earliest surviving Best Actor Oscar winner when Sidney Poitier died in 2022.

Coming to his personal life, in 1956, Hackman married Faye Maltese. Christopher Allen, Elizabeth Jean, and Leslie Anne were their three children. After three decades of marriage, the pair split in 1986. Next, he got married to Betsy Arakawa in 1991. Currently, they are happily living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Katharine Ross – Now 80 years old

Katharine Ross rose to fame through the iconic film, The Graduate, where she starred as Elaine Robinson, opposite Dustin Hoffman's character, Benjamin Braddock.  Other iconic films she starred in are The Stepford Wives and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.  Now 78, Ross is living a quiet 'semi-retired from acting' life with actor Sam Elliott, her husband for 36 years now.  The couple has one daughter, Cleo Rose Elliott, who works as a musician.

 

 Butch Patrick - Now 66 Years Old

It’s been a long while since Butch Patrick gained fame as a child actor so let us remind you of him - he was the one who portrayed Eddie (the child werewolf) on CBS’ The Munsters during the mid-1960s. Another memorable role performed by him was Mark on the Saturday morning television show Lidsville.

In the later years, Patrick’s acting work got limited to cameo appearances and the last time he was seen on screen was in 2005’s horror movie Frankenstein vs. the Creature from Blood Cove. These days, he is not much active as a performer and prefers to live away from the limelight.

Chuck Norris — Now 78 years old

Action star Chuck Norris' martial arts moves and expressions looked very real in movies, mostly because he is a legitimate martial artist, having undergone many years of training. He moved away from his military career (he served in the US Airforce) to participate in martial art championships and he soon caught the eye of many TV and film personalities, including the legendary martial artist and actor, Bruce Lee. His movies Return of the Dragon, The Delta Force and Good Guys Wear Black made him a superstar. After retiring from acting in movies, Norris now has many endorsement deals and makes occasional appearances at events. Shirley Bassey - Now 81 Years Old

Welsh singer Shirley Bassey may not have been a Bond girl but she is associated with famous film hero, James Bond. This is because she recorded 3 of hit theme songs of the film, and James Bond films are known to feature a relevant artist of the time, in their title songs. These three songs are Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, and Moonraker. Queen Elizabeth II awarded her Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) status in 1999, because of her services to entertainment, which is why the legendary singer, who still performs to this day, is now called Shirley Bassey.

 Angela Lansbury – Now 92 years old

Everybody knows Angela Lansbury for starring in the popular series, Murder, She Wrote, which ran from 1984 to 1996. However, she had been acting as early as 1943, becoming a breakthrough actress in Gaslight and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Now 92 years old, not only does she have a formidable bank account to show for her hard work, but also numerous accolades earned over the years, including being made a Dame by the Queen of England.

 Leonard Whiting - Now 68 years old

Seeing a younger image of actor Leonard Whiting, you would assume that you're looking at the High School Musical actor, Zac Efron, that's how handsome Whiting was. Getting noticed for his singing abilities first, the English actor was cast in the role of Romeo opposite actress Olivia Hussey (who played Juliet), in the movie adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, the classic Shakespearean tragical drama. After gaining a huge following after the movie released, Whiting seemed to disappear from our screens as his projects dwindled up. He would again reunite with Hussey in 2015 to act opposite her in the movie Social Suicide, a full 46 years after they first appeared on screen.

 Mel Brooks — Now 92 years old

Much has been said and written about Mel Brooks, a man who wore many hats, including actor, writer, director, producer, and comedian. He’s knowns for some of the funniest skits and movies of all time, including Get Smart, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Blazing Saddles, and many, many more. He is also one of the few noteworthies who have won the complete roster of EGOT awards—that is to say, Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and Tony. Now 92 years old, his legacy is truly a great one and so is his net worth.

Janis Paige – Now 96 years old

Janis Paige is best known as a singer, but she is also an actress in musical theater and television. She decided to leave Hollywood in the early 50s and focus on her Broadway career. However, she returned to movies just six weeks after, appearing in Silk Stockings and later, Bachelor in Paradise opposite Bob Hope. Janis most recently made headlines in 2017 when she wrote an article claiming that business Alfred Bloomingdale attempted to force himself on her when she was just 22 years old. She also suffered damage in her vocal chords in the early 2000s for which she was in recovery for a long time.

Rhonda Fleming – Now 95 years old

Rhonda Fleming was a prolific actress for over five decades before finally going on retirement in the 90s. Throughout her long career, she starred in a whopping 40 movies and was dubbed the “Queen of Technicolor” in her time. After quitting show business, she chose to focus on working with charities devoted to cancer care and research.

Jack Nicholson - Now 82 Years Old

Jack Nicholson began his career with movies that were not highly-rated but almost 60 years since his debut in the film industry, he is now respected as one of the most talented actors in Hollywood.

As of now, we don’t get to see much of him (precisely, after 2010) and it was even rumored that the actor retired from work due to his memory problems. Though, Nicholson later clarified that he has been doing fine and it’s just that he doesn’t prefer to stay in the limelight anymore. Well, wanting to have a quiet life in his eighties sounds fair enough!

Jane Withers — Now 92 years old

Jane Withers started acting in 1929 when she was only three years old and became one of the most popular child stars of the 30s and early 40s. She most notably starred opposite Shirley Temple in Bright Eyes. However, what she is most known for is the persona of Josephine the Plumber in a series of commercials advertising Comet cleanser. She’s been virtually in retirement since the early 60s, but she did resurface briefly in the late 90s and early 2000s to lend her voice to the character of Laverne in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and its sequel.

Dean Stockwell – Now 82 years old

Dean Stockwell started out as a child actor with MGM in 1945, eventually becoming a prolific actor for the next several decades. He is best known for his performances in Anchors Aweigh and Dune, to name just a few. He was still acting as late as 2015, but only two years later, it was reported that he was going on retirement after suffering a stroke. With a career that spanned 70 years, however, his Hollywood legacy is more quantifiable than his net worth.

Harry Belafonte – Now 91 years old

Harry Belafonte is the famed “King of Calypso,” responsible for making Caribbean music mainstream internationally back in the 40s. As of this writing, he has released 30 successful albums. Aside from his career as a musician, Harry is also an actor, starring in films like Island in the Sun and most recently, this year’s BlacKkKlansman. With his massive successes in music and movies, there is little doubt that he has one of the best savings account there is at age 91.

 

Neil Young - Now 72 Years Old

Neil Young may have played in a band for most of his career, but his name is the one fans remember more than his band's names. When he moved to LA from his native Canada, he first established the band Buffalo Springfield, then joined Crosby, Stills & Nash, and lastly his own back up band for many years, Crazy Horse. Some of Young's hit songs are Heart of Gold, Ohio, and Rockin' In The Free World. People from the music industry deemed him the 'Godfather of Grunge Music'. Now 72 years old, Young still performs and has reportedly married his girlfriend of 4 years, actress Daryl Hannah in a private ceremony.

 

 

Christopher Plummer – Now 88 years old

Another man on this list who needs no introduction is Christopher Plummer who we all know and love for his role as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. Since then, he has won several Oscars, Emmys, and Tonys, to name just a few of the accolades that he has earned throughout his long and illustrious career. Now 88, he recently claimed another Academy Award nomination for his role in All the Money in the World and doesn’t look like he has retirement plans on the drawing board.

Terry Moore — Now 89 years old

Terry Moore is the Academy Award-nominated actress who starred in Come Back, Little Sheba. Active since 1940, she has also starred in Mighty Joe Young and Peyton Place. By the 1960s, however, her stardom had been relegated to B-movies, which was a real blow to her net worth. Still, she earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and still occasionally acts, most recently appearing in Ray Donovan in 2016.

Jacqueline White — Now 95 years old

Jacqueline White was just a normal girl, working on earning her university degree at UCLA when she was discovered at drama class and offered her first film role in 1942. For the next decade, she starred in a good number of films, including The Narrow Margin and Crossfire for which she is best known for. She then went into retirement in the early 50s when she got married.

Clint Eastwood – Now 88 years old

Of course, who doesn’t know Clint Eastwood, legendary actor behind the iconic character Dirty Harry? A true Hollywood stalwart, he has won Oscars for his acting, as well as for his accomplishments as a director. He also pursued a career in politics for some time. Despite being 88 years old now, it doesn’t look like he has retirement plans as he continues to work hard both in front and behind the camera. However, he seems quite ready to pass on the mantle to his son, Scott Eastwood, who is steadily gaining a foothold in the industry.

Honor Blackman – Now 93 years old

Honor Blackman is best known for her role as Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, who is undoubtedly the most iconic Bond girl ever. She also played Cathy Gale in The Avengers and Hera in Jason and the Argonauts. She still occasionally takes on roles, most recently appearing in 2015’s You, Me & Them. Throughout her long life, Honor has gone through a divorce twice and never remarried after the second time, saying that she preferred to remain single.

Beverly Cleary – Now 102 years old

Beverly Cleary, now 102 years old, is one of America’s most successful living authors. Since publishing her first book in the 1950s, she has sold a whopping 91 million copies worldwide. She is best known for penning children’s stories like Beezus and Ramona and Ellen Tibbits, to name a few. She currently lives in a retirement home in Carmel Valley, California.

Tina Louise – Now 84 Years Old

Who could ever forget the women of Gilligan's Island, especially Ginger Grant, portrayed by actress Tina Louise.  Louise is now 84, but you can still see her every now and then doing small roles both on TV and films.  Although she continued acting after the end of the famous TV show, Louise wasn't a fan of spin-offs and sequels offered to her in the past.  She perhaps is a fan of the saying, "quitting while you're on top".

Bern Nadette Stanis – Now 64 Years Old

During the popularity of the TV character of actress Bern Nadette Stanis, Thelma from the famous TV show, Good Times, many girls of  African-American descent wanted to be like her.  This is why the actress, although already retired, is still remembered as the said beloved character.  Stanis chose to spend more time with her family than pursuing her acting career, she also writes during her spare time, and released a book in 2006 entitled Bern Nadette Stanis Situations 101.

Loni Anderson – Now 73 Years Old

Loni Anderson is well-known for two things, being a celebrity and the other half of Hollywood power couple, Burt (Reynolds) and Loni. The two have since divorced. The actress, whose most famous roles include were receptionist Jennifer Marlowe in the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati, and the films Stroker Ace and All Dogs Go to Heaven, is now 73 and happily married to The Brother's Four co-founder, Bob Flick.

June Lockhart - Now 93 years old

When fans think about actress June Lockhart, a warm feeling probably comes over them, since she mostly played motherly roles on screen.  Two of her most memorable roles are in Lassie and Lost in Space, beloved television series of the 50s and 60s with family themes.  Although basically retired, Lockhart can still be seen at some important Hollywood events.

 Shirley MacLaine – Now 84 years old

Veteran actress Shirley MacLaine remains to be one of Hollywood’s biggest treasures, even now at 84 years old. She started acting in 1955 and has since won numerous accolades for her various roles, including an Academy Award and several Emmys. She most recently appeared in 2017’s The Little Mermaid and The Last Word and is currently filming for Nicole, set for a 2019 release. Bob Newhart – Now 89 years old

Bob Newhart started his career in show business as a stand-up comedian and later transitioned to acting when his 1960 monologue, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart, became a real hit among audiences. Most recently, he has repeatedly guested on The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon as Professor Proton. Bob is not only known for his performances, but also for his deadpan comedic style, which he can claim to have pioneered.

 

Morgan Woodward - now 93 years old

Fans of the classic Paul Newman movie Cool Hand Luke will be familiar with actor Morgan Woodward, who played Boss Godfrey aka the 'man with no eyes'. He was a regular in Western themed TV shows, making guest appearances in Gunsmoke, and having a starring role in the television series, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, where he played the role of Shotgun Gibbs. Because of his contribution to many Western-themed shows, Woodward was inducted in the Hall of Great Western Performers in 2009. He is currently retired with his last on-screen appearance being in the late 90s.

Ali MacGraw - Now 79 years old

Ali MacGraw started her career as a model and later, as a production assistant. With her pretty face and all-American looks, it wasn’t long before she was to be found working for the cameras. She starred in iconic films like Love Story and The Getaway, to name just a few. Sadly, she succumbed to some bad vices for some time before sobering up and discovering yoga as a lifestyle. Now 79, she is still very much active in her practice and lives quietly in New Mexico.

 Eva Marie Saint – Now 94 years old

Eva Marie Saint is the Oscar-winning actress behind iconic films like North by Northwest, On the Waterfront, and many more. She is still active in the acting circuit, appearing as recently as 2014 in The Winter’s Tale. She married director Jeffrey Hayden in 1951 and stayed together until he died in 2016 without even thinking of divorce, which is a real achievement in Hollywood.

Barbara Walters — Now 89 years old

Barbara Walters is one of those pioneering women in journalism and broadcasting who has paved the way for the younger generation of women to follow. She was once the first woman co-anchor on the evening news, something which was unheard of in 1976. She went on to host a slew of talk shows including Today, 20/20, ABC Evening News and lastly, The View, the latter which she retired from hosting but still produces. She was in the news recently as she is said to be very ill, but there are no confirmed reports of any medical emergency.

Kim Novak - Now 85 years old

Kim Novak got her first taste of the spotlight when she was crowned “Miss Deepfreeze” by a refrigerator company. This paved the way for a successful film career that spanned decades. At some point, she was groomed by Columbia to succeed Rita Hayworth as their biggest star. By the late 50s, however, her career had started its decline, although she continued acting sporadically. She officially stopped making films in the early 90s and has been largely in seclusion throughout her retirement. However, she does surface periodically to attend film festivals.

 

Julie Gibson - Now 105 years old

Actress Julie Gibson started off her career in the limelight as a singer with the Jimmy Grier Orchestra and she would go on to marry the man himself, Jimmy Grier, who was her 1st of three husbands. But there are two distinct reasons why Gibson is so famous. The first reason being that she is the only surviving cast member of the original The Three Stooges movie. The second being that she is the oldest living celebrity from Hollywood's Golden Age, having turned 105 in 2018. From bit roles to full-length feature films, Julie has done it all. In the recent years, there has been no news of Julie, nor has she been photographed being out and about. Looks like retirement and leading a quiet life is suiting the centenarian well.

Engelbert Humperdinck - Now 82 years old

Although singer Engelbert Humperdinck is British, the universal language of music made him popular all-over the world, even in America.  Some of his famous hits are Release Me, The Last Waltz, After the Lovin, and This Moment in Time.  The singer is also known to cover some of the greatest hits of legendary singers.  Ever the performer, he still sings and tours today and even released an album in 2017.  Because of his non-stop touring and album releases, as well as multiple real-estate investments, Humperdinck's net worth is reportedly at $150 million today, at the age of 82

Marsha Hunt – Now 100 years old

In 1934, Marsha Hunt went against her parents’ wishes that she earn a university degree and instead started modeling. She transitioned to acting soon after, signing a contract with Paramount and later, MGM. She is best known for her roles in Born to the West, Pride and Prejudice, and Johnny Got His Gun. By the time she went on retirement in the early 70s, she had shifted her focus to various causes and charities that supported progressive causes like LGBTQ rights and climate change.

 

Sophia Loren – Now 84 years old

Truly, who doesn’t know the absolutely stunning Sophia Loren? Since becoming a breakthrough actress at age 15, she has maintained her screen goddess image through the decades. Best of all, Sophia proved to be more than just a pretty face and was truly talented, earning numerous awards throughout her long career, including an Academy Award. She is even accomplished musically, winning a Grammy at some point. Sophia still occasionally acts in her native Italy, but has largely been living quietly in retirement these days.

Agnetha Fältskog, 68 Years Old

 

Fans of the 'Hippie Era' of the 70's will surely know of Agnetha, as she was a group member of one of the best selling pop groups in the world, ABBA. After enthralling the world with her beauty on stage, she receded into relative obscurity after ABBA broke up, and tried her hand as a solo artist. She then took a 17 year hiatus which was finally broken when she released an album in 2004 and then again in 2013 she released her last album titled 'A'. The 68 year old rarely appears in public and is happily living a quiet life in the Swedish countryside.

Warren Beatty – Now 81 years old

It’s hard to imagine Warren Beatty as an octogenarian as he used to be Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor for decades. He’s known for his stellar performances in cult classics like Citizen Kane, Bonnie and Clyde, Shampoo, and many more. He is equally famous for his numerous dalliances in his heyday. However, he was eventually tamed by actress Annette Bening who he married in 1992. Despite his track record, they have never divorced, which makes the couple a true Hollywood success story.

James Drury - Now 84 years old

James Drury began his acting career at the young age of 12 with the movie Life of Father. Maybe it was his early start which made him a star but he would go on to make a name for himself by acting in a slew of Western movies. His big moment to shine in the spotlight came in 1962 when he was cast as the title lead in the 90-minute NBC series The Virginian. After a run of 249 episodes, the series ended but Drury went on with his movies and TV show guesting roles. His last credited role was all the way back in 2005 with a small budget movie called Hell to Pay. Since then, he choses to make very few public appearances given his advanced age, but is said to always oblige his fans with photos and a warm smile.

Gary Clarke - Now 85 years old

Perhaps actor Gary Clarke may have appeared in a number of films and television shows, but his most known appearance was in the long-running Western themed TV series, The Virginian. After his last appearance as a regular cast of television series, Clarke went on to write screenplays, including some episodes of the 1960's TV sitcom, Get Smart. Aside from The Virginian, some of his most notable roles were in Michael Shayne, Hondo, Dynasty, and Laramie.

Nick Nolte - Now 77 years old

Famous actor Nick Nolte began his career pretty early as a model. And seeing his younger self, we totally understand why the industry went gaga over him. The millennials may remember his wacky weirdo character in the popular movie Tropic Thunder, but back in the 70s and 80s, Nolte made so many movie and TV appearances, it makes our head spin when we go through his filmography. From Lorenzo's Oil and Everybody Wins to the critically acclaimed The Prince of Tides, he was cashing it big in Hollywood. His newest movie Angel Has Fallen is due for release in 2019.

Catherine Deneuve - Now 74 years old

Actress Catherine Deneuve is truly the pride of France.  Aside from being a beauty, Deneuve is also a multi-awarded actress, not just in her native France, but around the globe as well.  She's won best actress awards from César, BAFTA, and the Academy, and she's also been awarded by the main film festivals in the world - the Venice Film Festival, the Berlin International Film Festival, and the Cannes Film Festival.  In America, her most memorable films include Hustle, The Hunger, and The April Fools where she starred opposite American icon, Jack Lemon.  Deneuve also became the model of France's national symbol of liberty, Marianne, in 1985.

Richard Keith (Keith Thibodeaux) - Now 67 years old

The name Keith Thibodeaux may not be very familiar among the American TV audiences, but Richard Keith is.  Keith Thibodeaux aka Richard Keith is the child actor who played Desi and Lucille’s child in the comedy show, I Love Lucy, Little Ricky.  The former child actor and musician is now retired and managing a business with his non-showbiz wife.  At 67 years old, Thibodeaux looks youthful for his age, wouldn’t you agree?

Bolo Yeung - Now 72 Years Old

Chinese martial arts and it's portrayal in movies would not be the same without Bolo Yeung. Yang Sze (his real name) has worked with great international action stars such as Jean-Claude Van Damme in Double Impact and Bloodsport and with Bruce Lee in the cult classic Enter the Dragon, among many others. In fact, he worked very closely with Bruce to work on the action sequences and technique training during filming. Although Bolo's last credited guest role was way back in 2007's Blizhniy Boy: The Ultimate Fighter, he keeps himself busy with Tai Chi and being Hong Kong Gym Business Association's Chairman and also acts as Taipei International Body Building squad's team manager.

John Astin – Now 88 years old

You may recognize John Astin for playing Gomez Addams in the original The Addams Family in the 60s. He was also in the West Side Story when it was adapted for the movies. John has continued to act until the late 90s and has even taken on a couple of small roles in last decade. However, he is more focused on his Buddhism practice, which he credits for his peaceful retirement.

Betty Lynn - 92 Years Old

Betty Lynn is one of the few actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood who is still alive today. Nonetheless, she is living a quiet life of retirement in Mount Airy, North Carolina, which is ironically the birthplace of the iconic Andy Griffith, with whom Lynn starred alongside with in The Andy Griffith Show. Before landing the role of Thelma Lou, Barney Fife's girlfriend on the show, the retired actress started her career on radio. Prior to that, the singer-actress toured with the entertainment group of the USO (United Service Organization), performing in the 'China Burma India Theater' in war affected countries. Lynn was also offered acting project sin movies, and was even cast along with Hollywood legend Bette Davis in the movie June Bride. Once a month, the 92-year-old Lynn still visits the Andy Griffith Museum to sign autographs for fans of the show.

Cicely Tyson – Now 93 years old

Cicely Tyson has been acting since 1951, but no doubt, she is best known for her award-winning role in 2011’s The Help. These were not the first accolades that she has received throughout her long career, however, as she’s had numerous successes in the 70s. She was once married to musician Miles Davis, but their union ended in divorce. Cicely remains one of the industry’s most respected actress to this day.

Olivia De Havilland - Now 102 years old

One of the best films ever made is Gone with the Wind, and with the classic being old, it was released in 1939, most of its major cast have already passed away. Actually, all but one, Dame Olivia De Havilland, who played the part of Melanie Hamilton in the movie, who is now 102 years old. And despite her age and her retirement, the legendary actress looks young for her age and has maintained her beauty.

Joe Pesci - Now 75 Years Old

Hollywood actor Joe Pesci is very versatile - he can play tough gangster roles effectively, and also be hilarious when need be.  Some of his famous gangster characters were in the movie Goodfellas and Casino, while his comedy roles are simple unforgettable in Lethal Weapon 2, 3, & 4, and in Home Alone 1 & 2.  After Lethal Weapon 4, Pesci decided to retire and focus on his musical career.  He released an album in 1998 entitled Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just for You.  Since acting is part of who he is, Pesci eventually returned to star in the movies The Good Shepherd and Love Ranch.  He is set to reunite with actor Robert De Niro (who he starred alongside with in several films) in the film The Irishman.

Yoko Ono - Now 85 years old

Yoko Ono already had a career as an artist before she met The Beatles' John Lennon.  In fact, she met Lennon because he visited her art exhibit in London back in 1966.  Aside from sharing creative passions, the two also shared the same views in activism, which is why they eventually became a couple and later married.  Aside from the mentioned talents, Ono is also a songwriter and a singer, and her album collaboration with Lennon, Double Fantasy, became a big hit in 1980.  Now 85 years old, Ono still pursues her craft, philanthropic works, and her social activism, with her focus on the non-violent fight for human rights.

Delta Burke - Now 62 Years Old

Delta Burke tried her hand at beauty pageants first before joining Hollywood.  At 18 years old, she was crowned Miss Florida in 1974, the youngest ever to hold this crown in pageant history. Before being cast in her most famous role of Suzanne Sugarbaker in Designing Women, Burke starred first in the shows The Chisholms, Filthy Rich, and 1st & Ten. Burke is now 62 and keeps herself busy these days by attending to her New York-based clothing company, Delta Burke Design, and also managing her Type 2 Diabetes that she had been diagnosed with.

James Earl Jones - Now 87 years old

James Earl Jones is considered as one of the greatest actors in American history, not just in films, but on stage as well.  It's not only because of his acting skills Jones is prominent for, but also for his one of a kind 'basso profondo' voice.  The legendary actor is best known for providing the iconic voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars films, as well as Mufasa's voice in the animated hit movie, The Lion King.  Jones' last screen appearance was in 2015's TV drama, Agent X. He's now 87 and hopefully enjoying his retirement from acting.

Billy Dee Williams — Now 81 years old

American actor and musician Billy Dee Williams was forever immortalised in the role of Lando Calrissian in the long running Start Wars film series, ever since he appeared in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back. He is known to be a talented musician too, who even has a Jazz album to his credit. He is currently filming for the 2019 movie Star Wars: Episode IX, reprising his famous role of Calrissian, once again.

Inge Ginsberg - Now 97 years old

Inge Ginsberg is far from any regular 97 year old lady you have ever met. She is the lead singer of a death metal band called Inge and the Tritone Kings which became popular overnight as they auditioned for America's Got Talent and Switzerland's Got Talent. Death Metal Granny, as she is known, hasn't had an easy life growing up in a Jewish Family from Austria. Her family had to sell off their jewels just to be able to escape the Holocaust and ended up in a refugee camp in Switzerland. She even looked after a spy house from which agents from the US Secret Service would send across Nazi secrets to the motherland. Inge then moved to the US with her first husband, who composed songs for legends like Dean Martin and Nat King Cole. If they ever made a Hollywood movie on Inge's life, it would surely become a massive hit!

 

Shirley Jones - Now 84 years old

 Actress and singer Shirley Jones's most beloved role was as Shirley Partridge in the hit TV musical show, The Partridge Family. But prior to that she found success in films, such as the musicals Carousel, Oklahoma!, and The Music Man. When she starred in The Partridge Family, she was cast alongside David Cassidy, her real life stepson with then-husband, actor Jack Cassidy. Jones is currently enjoying her retirement at 84 years old.

Jerry Lee Lewis – Now 83 years old

Jerry Lee Lewis is the rock and roll musician behind hits like Great Balls of Fire, Good Golly Miss Molly, and Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On. His career, however, suffered a setback in the late 50s not because of substance abuse, but because it was discovered that he had taken his 13-year-old first cousin as his third wife. This led to him being blacklisted for some time. However, his career and bank account bounced back soon enough and he was back to producing hits for the next few decades.

Buck Taylor - now 80 years old

Actor Buck Taylor is best remembered for his role as Deputy Newly O'Brien in the very popular Western-themed TV series Gunsmoke. Aside from being an actor, Taylor is also a skilled painter, with his favorite subject being the American West. He has painted posters that has been used for Texas Rodeos. Taylor has retired from acting and currently lives with his wife in Fort Worth, Texas.

Tommy Kirk - Now 76 years old

Fans of Disney movie classics are definitely familiar with actor Tommy Kirk.  He played Travis in the film Old Yeller, and Ernst in the movie, The Swiss Family Robinson.  After his acting career was affected by his substance abuse problems during his young adult years, Kirk decided to retire from the industry.  He now runs his own carpet cleaning business and proves to be successful at it.

Barry Manilow - Now 76 Years Old

Barry Manilow may have crooned that he "Can't Smile Without You," but the singer, musician, composer and producer does smile a lot, and especially whenever he is on stage, performing his hit songs at sold-out concert venues and private performances. Apart from his multi-platinum records, one more thing Barry is famous for, is that his songs have been used extensively by musicals, commercials and movies to add a touch of magic t0 their production. Of course, he is a legend, with even Bob Dylan and Frank Sinatra praising him and his incredible music. Nowadays, he is said to be happily married to TV executive Garry Kief, and is busy with his many charitable endeavors.

Nancy Sinatra - 79 years old

Nancy Sinatra's father was a great influence on her, so she studied voice, dance, and music at the University of California, Los Angeles. However, she wasn't able to graduate; she dropped out to pursue a career in the music industry just like her father. Initially, she was not noticed at all in the United States when she released the song Cuff Links and a Tie Clip.  Yet, her succeeding songs did well in Europe and Japan. When she was finally handled by Lee Hazlewood, Nancy finally found success with the song These Boots Are Made for Walkin. Aside from Hazlewood making her sing in a lower key, Nancy also received an image overhaul, complete with bleaching her hair blonde. Now 79, Nancy still performs and has maintained her bleach-blonde hair color.

Glynis Johns - Now 95 years old

Veteran actress Glynis Johns was blessed with many talents in the entertainment world - she can sing, dance, act, and play the piano.  She is renowned for her husky voice, an identifiable quality of hers.  Johns is best remembered for playing Winifred Banks in Walt Disney's Mary Poppins.  Two of the actress' last appearance on screen were in the films Superstar and the Sandra Bullock starrer, While You Were Sleeping.  Glynis has since retired after appearing in Superstar in 1999.

Bob Barker — Now 94 years old

Bob Barker is one man on this list who needs no introduction, having been the host of The Price is Right from the show’s inception in 1972 to its last episode in 2007. Not only that, he was also a staple in beauty pageants like Miss USA and Miss Universe for at least 20 years. In 2017, he made headlines when he accidentally fell in his home, which required treatment as Bob is now 94 years old.

Morgan Freeman — Now 81 years old

Of course, Morgan Freeman needs no introduction as he is still a very popular and immensely bankable actor to this day. What most people don’t know is that he started acting in the early 70s in Who Says I Can't Ride a Rainbow?, later on moving to larger roles in The Shawshank Redemption, The Sum of All Fears, and Million Dollar Baby for which he won an Academy Award. He reportedly has a net worth of $150 million at present but considering that he’s still very active at age 81, it’s safe to assume that this is still growing.

Vera Lynn — Now 102 years old

Vera Lynn is an English singer and musician whose songs and performances were immensely popular during WWII. During this time, she toured the world performing for troops, serenading them with hits like The White Cliffs of Dover and There’ll Always Be an England. She continued recording and producing hits after the war, including Auf Wiederseh'n Sweetheart. Beyond the earnings in her bank account, she was recognized for her work with numerous medals and even an OBE and DBE from the Queen.

Barbara Eden – Now 87 years old

Barbara Eden is best known for immortalizing the titular role of Jeannie in I Dream of Jeannie. Before that, she was a regular in The Johnny Carson Show and appeared in shows like I Love Lucy and The West Point Story. Post Jeannie, Barbara had a modest career in movies but went on semi-retirement by the 70s. Most notably, she was awarded an honorary university degree at the University of West Los Angeles with a Doctor of Laws.

Priscilla Presley - Now 74 years old

Although Priscilla Presley has established her own career in Hollywood, the ‘shadow’ of Elvis Presley has never left her.  Despite having a movie career and managing a successful business, Priscilla will forever be known to fans as the only woman Elvis had ever married.  Some of the music icon’s best friends revealed that although he was involved with many women after his divorce from Priscilla, he admitted he had no plans of ever marrying again.  The former actress and ex-wife of the 'King of rock and roll' also never remarried, although she had a child from another man.  Now 74 years old, Priscilla is still an active entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $150 million.

Gene Reynolds – Now 95 years old

Gene Reynolds is a real jack of all trades. He is an actor, a producer, a director, and even a writer. He made his acting debut in 1934 and starred in films like Gallant Sons, Captains Courageous, and Love Finds Andy Hardy. However, he is best known as the creative mind behind the popular TV series M*A*S*H for which he son multiple Emmy Awards and built up a formidable bank account.

Max Baer Jr. - Now 80 years old

Max Baer was so good at playing Jethro Bodine, the dimwitted nephew of Jed Clampett on the widely popular TV show The Beverly Hillbillies, that Hollywood could't see him any other role. He found it very difficult to find work after the show wrapped up and he had to write, produce and star in a movie called Macon County Line with a friend. Not a bad gamble, considering his bank account was replenished, as the movie earned $35 million at the box office!

Marion Ross - Now 90 years old

Marion Ross' career may have been focused on television when she was older, but let's not forget she is still one of the last remaining stars of Hollywood's Golden Age, having worked with legendary stars like Ginger Rogers, William Holden, James Stewart, Audrey Hepburn, and Humphrey Bogart among others.  However it really cannot be denied that she is best remembered today as Marion Cunningham or Mrs. C, Richard Cunningham's mother, in the ABC TV sitcom Happy Days.

Al Pacino - Now 79 Years Old

Al Pacino has been globally regarded as a superstar ever since he portrayed Micheal Corleone in 1972’s superhit crime movie The Godfather. Thanks to its massive success, the actor got the chance to reprise his role in the sequels as well and his work made it to the list of best screen performances in the history of cinema.

Apparently, it’s Pacino charm that he still enjoys a lucrative career and if he keeps entertaining the audiences the same way, we don’t think retirement would be an option for him for the next decade at least.
